Visits are very important for the resident's emotional, social, physical, and spiritual well-being. We strongly encourage visits by family, friends, and even pets.
Leave of absence arrangements can be made at the nurse's station. We ask residents to sign out when leaving the building. Please provide ample notice for any over-night stays away from the facility.
Transportation services are available. The facility's social workers, along with the activity staff, coordinate resident transportation.
Cable hook-up is available in all rooms at no charge. Televisions are also available in the lounges.
We encourage residents to bring personal belongings and decorative items to personalize their room.
Putnam Acres Care Center is a non-smoking facility. The use of alcoholic beverages is permitted only with the permission of the resident's physician.
Beauty and barber services are available at the facility. The individual resident is responsible for payment for any services provided.
